[wellylug] Linux from Scratch

Hi Jethro

I've had a crack at this with some success, although I've never
completed the process, mainly due to other distractions and temporary
lack of space forcing me to put the box (P100, 64MB) into storage for a
while.

I got as far as a working, commandline only machine. That's the point at
which I stopped. From what I recall the instructions were extremely
accurate and complete. I had to backtrack a few times because of relying
too much on memory, and so missing the odd step. But it was all
reasonably intuitive. I do intend to continue the process at some future
date - when I get my study back, some renovations to complete first :(

It was certainly interesting and educational for me anyway. I would also
be interested in how you get on.

Lyndsay
