[wellylug] new to Wgtn, mozilla problems

Hi to all Linux users in Wellington,

I will try to keep this as short as I can!

I moved here from Melbourne in May. I am 50 something female
with Linux, but know very little, although I have sort of used it
since about 1995! Currently I have woody and I have always relied
on helpers to get me through problems etc etc.

Recently I have had a problem and I have spoken to my Oz guru
online but he cannot work out what the prob is.

My mozilla keeps closing, any time, sometimes after 2 minutes,
other times it is open all day. Usually the more I try to do the more it closes
but the worst thing is that in the process it has chewed up and
lost almost all of my bookmarks.

My Australian helper walked me thru a re install of moz, and we did that
but the closing unexpectedly problem persisted.

Really I am looking for someone who can guarantee to fix this
problem. Also I am looking for someone who can get me connected to
some high speed internet, including my hubbys WIN box. We are not
quite sure what is available here, and the cost etc but we are
looking to getting away from dialup sometime in the future.

We need to be taught how to manage our own LAN as regards the net
access , we need to be taught how to share devices etc. Are you
getting the picture? We will happily pay for good reliable help
with all this stuff, but first off I really REALLY need 
to get my browser fixed. This has been going on for over a month.
Before that X used to close quite often and that seems to have stopped.

If anyone can sort any of this out I will be only too happy to 
hear from you!
