there are still a few old copies of loki games floating around, dr
floppy in auckland may still have a few

https://www.drfloppy.co.nz/

myth2, smac, soldier of fortune, kohan and tribes2 were all very good
but somewhat old - tribes2 is still pretty good - and will run well on a
newer computer.

I have had wolfenstein, enemy territory, ut + mods ut2003 quake3 + mods
going natively and have played cs under winex all are good games

the following are sites I have found useful in the past:

http://linuxgames.com/
http://icculus.org/
http://www.tuxgames.com/
http://www.lokigames.com/
http://www.happypenguin.org/
http://www.garagegames.com/
http://www.linuxgamepublishing.com/

I recently installed torcs in rh9 using apt-rpm from freshrpms and was
quite impressed, some of the pure open source games are becoming quite
playable (besides tuxracer which has been there for a while), cube is
pretty good and crystal space looks interesting:

http://torcs.sourceforge.net/
http://crystal.sourceforge.net/drupal/
http://wouter.fov120.com/cube/

have fun!
