[wellylug] Amnesty volunteer work

Hi folks,

I contacted Amnesty in response to Damon's heads-up about their request for IT 
volunteers. I'm drafting up a wee email of some random ideas and suggestions 
for them regarding open source alternatives etc. (without sounding too 
evangelistic, hopefully!) It ocurred to me if there's anyone else here who 
was interested in helping them out, whether there's room on the forum for a 
"volunteer work" category for discussion of same (to keep the noise on the 
list down... although it is a bit monastic around here, so maybe we could 
talk about it here! :-)

Mainly just so we could sing from roughly the same hymn sheet before I go 
putting my foot in anything!
