[wellylug] network config

Hi all
	I'm running mandrake 9 on a dell laptop with a pcmcia network card and
pcmcia modem.
my problem is I can't seem to get the network working at the same time
as  the internet.
if I stop the network card then the internet works but after i connect
then restart the network then the local network dosn't work.
what do i need to configure?
