got the 'who Linux' after 15 min. poor old server is probably thrashing
away. hate to think what it's like during day time.
Yahoo is a lot faster, but it did un-sub me a few weeks back when actrix had
one of their outages. a real pain getting back on. took over an hour.
If there is someone there with a DSL or cable connection, it shouldn't be to
much effort to get Majordomo or something similar going.
I preferred the style of traffic on [LAW] much more restrained. none of the
'me to' posts and properly trimmed. Some of the subscribers on this list
could benefit from a Google search on 'email list etiquette'.
Unfortunately [LAW] has restrained it's self right out of existence. My own
theory is the name 'Linux Advocates of Wellington' is to corny, to much the
zealot image.
