Hi,
If it is anything like my cable setup - which it probably is, you can
simply run the DrakConnect from the Mandrake Control Centre. Launch the
wizard. Choose LAN when it has detected the card (it did detect it,
right?) Ignore the cable option - that is for those countries with a
different way of connecting with cable. Then when you hit next put in
the right values for DNS, IP, gateway, and netmask. That *should* work,
unless something has become seriously messed up on the system.
One easy way to see diagnostic output from DrakConnect is to run it from
the command line, as root. It is called drakconnect
Unless there is a problem in the setup, the wizard in 9.1 should take
care of things for you. You just have to choose LAN and not cable.
