[wellylug] Problems with KAddressbook

I have recently changed email clients from Mozilla (didn't sync well with my 
Palm Pilot) to Kmail, but am now having problems editing addresses in my 
Kaddress book.  I am able to edit an entry but on going to save the file on 
exit get the message "Unable to save Kaddress Book.  There was an error while 
atempting to save the address book.  Please check that some other application 
is not using it"  Thing is, the address book is the only application I have 
running, and I cannot figure what is going on.  An associated problem is that 
the addresses that have downloaded from my Palm and are editible from using 
KPilot desktop are not now necesarily the same as those showing in my 
KAddress book.  

Has anybody come acoss such a problem at all, or able to suggest what I can do 
to sort it out?

Any help or advice would be appreciated.
