I don't know if I can count here ;) but I do use Quanta all the time

It should work with all KDE programs; in fact they're KDE components
(they're called kio's = KDE Input Output, if I'm not mistaken). All
they do is to wrap a protocol's functionality into a kde reusable part,
so any kde program can use the protocol. (I mean, fish://, smb:// etc).
Another nice kio is audiocd://... put an audio cd into the cd-rom driver
and say "Wow!" :)
CVS support is simply Cervisia embedded into Quanta.
