I'd prefer that option: what are other's preferences?  (IMHO
wlug.geek.nz is too likely confused with wlug.org.nz)

If it's any help, I'm happy to register the domain and point it at
Ewen's DNS servers: if/when the club becomes a formal entity, ownership
of the domain should probably be transferred to it.
