I'm using a few bits of cooker too..
evolution is broken in today's cooker
(problem with a soup library i think)....

I use alot of texstar rpms, using urpmi, as well as rpms from plf and
jpackage.

i also found drakian to be useful (alien ports of debs) when i can't
find an rpm for some obscure library.

Paradise used to be wonderful in their support of linux. I actaully had
someone on a helpline send > 2 hours talking me through getting a
winmodem working in corel linux.. and i called the 0800 on my cellphone
so i sure got my money worth that month.

they've changed their attitude. I sent an email about 6 months ago
asking if they could please update their linux distro mirrors They
replied they were closing it down cos linux didn't take off like they
thought, or words to that effect...
