My other peeve is stealing threads.

If you want to send a new message to the (or any) list, please don't do it by
replying to someone else's. It screws up the threads in a thread-enabled MUA,
making it very likely that something will get deleted or ignored by accident.

Similarly, if what you're sending really is a reply, then please _do_ reply,
rather than starting a new thread, which won't appear associated with the
old one.

I guess if most people aren't using thread-enabled MUAs, or haven't turned
threading on, they won't have noticed. I certainly didn't for ages, and only
discovered threaded MUAs recently, so I don't hold too much against those
who haven't.

That's my thoughts.
