It's a sad day on the lug when a thread about the format/construction of
emails generates more traffic than say, someone wanting to know about
how linux could be used to do creative things like music, or maybe USB
stuff.

I'm knowingly contributing to the flamewar, but, jesus, isn't there
something better to get pissy about?

I've been on mailing lists and the internet for years. And the perennial
issue for the beards is the format of the mail.

I'm sorry, but this is f**king boring. Mailing list protocol is
something that shouldn't need to be discussed.

Yeah sure HTML mail is evil. But hey - there's bigger issues at stake
here.

get over it. nuff said.

Sorry 'bout that crew, but seriously, based on the traffic of the list -
you gotta wonder about priorities....It just had to be said.
