Greetin gs.

This stinking thing drives me mad :) It dials the number but doesn't
"hook up", just sits there, beeping. Once in a dozen attempts it decides
to hook up properly, so i can send the email like this one :)

I got the driver, got the modules loaded, run "hcfpciconfig", told it
about NEWZEALAND and other settings... still.. sometime takes hour to get
that thing connected.

I've heard that if you substitute an "INF file" from a "native"
micros~1 windows driver into your /etc/hcfpci directory, the modem will
perform better. I don't have any working micros~1 windows incarnations at
the moment, and, to be honest, can't be bothered to install a new
one :)

Has anyone set this (or similar) thing RELIABLY in linux ? If so - could
they please share INF files/configs with me ? :)
