still OT, but since you ask...
Nova strings orchestra meets on wednesday nights, at massey's music
conservatorium. 
we perform mostly NZ music, including commissioning pieces from local
artists - and concertos to showcase local performers. 

always looking for more players, but viola players are especially
precious. like wise double bass.
