IIRC the Linux real player has an embeddable mode for it (I tend to use
it in stand alone mode).

The Mozilla plugins page will probably tell you if it'll embed in recent
versions of Mozilla (I tend not to use embedded anything).  And Opera
can probably tell you if it'll embed in Opera or not.

Also ISTR seeing a alpha/beta embedded mplayer module around somewhere.
