[wellylug] lilo mucked up

Hi people

My Athlon box used to dual boot Linux & Windows 2000 until I attempted to
copy the Windows onto a separate HDD using PQDI (failed) and then PQMagic.
Somewhere along the way Windows thought it was half way through an install
and asked for a Disk. In my sleepy state at the time, I reached for a setup
CD instead of the power button.
Now Windows boots off /dev/hda and has decided /dev/hdc is it's system disk.
I managed to boot a limited Linux with loadlin and the kernel pinched off my
permanent Linux box and copied modules etc.
Lilo was in the MBR and I can still see it with dd if=/dev/hda etc|strings.
I tryed:
# lilo -b /dev/hda
but no joy, It still boots straight into the confused Windows.

Any ideas?
