The NEC one was called discharge.com. It *might* be available from their
PackardBell / NEC support website (in Holland IIRC) I might even still have
it on diskette at home somewhere - will have a look. Failing that I could
try a guy who still does the NEC PCs

I did upgrade the battery controller. Do you know any good downloadable
