About 10% of the membership receives the digest.

Disk space wasted by excessive quoting isn't really a big deal these days.

However I also find it frustrating to have to read through very large
quotes to try to find the new content and/or figure out whether there's
any more comments to come.  I'm sure everyone would appreciate people
spending a few extra seconds to trim out the extraneous quoted material.
Particularly those reading the digest.
