Actually I started the LUG :-)

I'm still a fan of Linux but I just don't think it has quite the maturity,
hardware support, nor speed to compete with Windows on the desktop for a
lot of tasks.

For instance I cannot get my internal PCI modem to work with Mandrake 10,
meaning that if I want ot dial in to work I _must_ reboot into Windows.

Just a small example, I still have a mail-server at home running Linux
(Gentoo 1.4) and I have Mandrake 10 on my PC, I just find that Windows
suits some tasks that Linux does not.
