I agree with Sam. That whole episode was truly ugly. I wouldn't have
believed the agressive arrogance of the OSS advocates, who seemed to
think that all Linux groups should be all be "chapters" under the OSS
banner and that they should run and what is more "license" everything.

It's a legitimate worry when people start on about formalisation. It
needn't go that way though.
