I don't suppose you have had a problem where changing the channel causes
the sound carrier to be lost, resulting in loud static. Repeatedly
switching the channel a few times often restores it (although sometimes
causes a kernel panic, albeitrarely)?

I've been using the bytesex.org driver for about 2.5 years now, and that's
the only problem that remains. I did spend some time looking through the
driver to see if I could work out what was going on, but I wasn't
successful.

I have the remote control working perfectly if anyone is interested, since
it seems a few people have this card.
