We are talking about encoding videos not decrypting DVDs.. right ??
So what the problem of encoding your home movies ??? does it breach any 
copyrights ?????
Do you need a permit in NZ to encode in mpeg your DV tapes or other ?
We have not even discussed about the content of this videos.
