Ok thanks to everybody re the scp....
but.... I have something that I find odd here. 
But very likely to be a lack of knowledge rather than anything else.

port 22 is forwarded from the DSL router and inbound/out are allowed.

Scp is working fine now such as :

machine A -----> internet ----> router/firewall -----> machine 
B
and so is working :

machine B ----> firewall ---> internet ----> machine A (:8080)

Now when I use ssh such as :

machine B ----> firewall ---> internet ---> router/firewall -----> machine B

reminder :

to nmap to confirm it to me)

no way........ connexion refused.

I tried from a windows machine with winscp... locally it works fine :
[windows] ssh me at machineB 
or even 
[machine B] ssh him at machineB

Is there a kind of self test ??? Could this be seen as a breach of security ?
