In answer to your Ihug question, the answer is NO. I believe someone at some
point had some ver alpha drivers for the 2.4 and 2.6 kernels, but don't ask
me if they worked or know.
Personally I would go with Cable as it gives you the most uptime and least
setup hassle.

Subject: [wellylug] Broadband
hi all,
I'm looking for a broadband provider. I want about 256kb/s, and a 1GB
data cap. And as cheap as possible (well, broadband isn't cheap...but
you know what I mean)
Usage will be downloading (source code), surfing and online games via nz
mirrors.
I've been looking and I thinking of either Paradise Cable, or Ihug
Ultra.
Can people on these either of plans please tell me how they have found
it?
Also do the Ihug Ultra PCI cards run on Linux with the 2.6 kernel?
thanks,
