That would be distro dependent. If in doubt, have a look
at rpm -ql <hylafax' name> and identify the daemon's name
(or look at ps aux) and skill it ...
As for the cronjob ... have a look at /var/spool/cron/crontabs
(or where ever they live on that distro ;})
