I would imagine it is pretty simple. I can get you the gridded topo data in a
variety of formats, can you look at the blurb on GDAL & see if it can output
what you want directly? Otherwise, can ImageMagick reformat to what you want>
(GDAL is effectively a spatial raster reformatter/library which deals with a
variety of spatial context imagery & grids)
