Well, I have to say that I'd prefer if the 
addresses in the archive were anonymised, too.

Other mailing lists do it, and I find it very
sensible just because it makes it easier for
a user to filter ... If I weren't using paradise
but my hotmail-account I'd feel thoroughly 
upsset, too, because there's no sensible
spam-filtering possible there (re-direct 
foreign mail to junk, add people you know
to your contacts - but you still have to check
30 mails a day for validity)...
