[wellylug] CUPS Problem (#2)

I'm working on cups on my LFS laptop (again). I'm using a shared printer
connected to my desktop.

I can print as root, from any application (ie: gedit), but as my normal
user I can only print the cups test page (using the web interface). No
applications, like gedit list the printer, or can print to it. Open
office lists the printer, but when I click print it locks up for 20
seconds, and nothing happens...


I think it's some sort of permission on my laptop. Cups was
installed,according to the BLFS instructions, which match the cups
install instructions.

I've attached the error log for my laptop, which goes on about 'SIGTERM'
or something like that.

any ideas?
