[wellylug] Formalising WellyLUG - revisited

A reminder to people that there will be some discussion (possibly
heated)on the formalisation of WellyLUG and the adoption of a proposed
constitution etc. at the Feb. LUG meetings.

It is vital that everyone who has an opinion on this makes it known by
either attending the Feb. meeting or making it quite clear on the list
what their feelings are on this proposed formalisation.

My own personal feeling (which seem to be shared by a number of others)is
that the current set-up of the LUG works well for most people and that
there is no real need to change this. Formalisation, in my view, will just
deter many people, who might otherwise want to, from becoming involved
with the group.

Remember that unless you have your say then you won't be able to complain
about any decisions that are made about the future of _your_ LUG, so
ensure you either attend the Feb. meeting or make your feelings known in a
public forum where they can be seen by all involved.
