That's incorrect: it doesn't come on the CDs, which is different :)

That's one way, but far from the best way with Mandrake. Under Mandrake,
urpmi is your friend :)

It's much better to visit this page:

http://urpmi.org/easyurpmi/index.php

choose cooker for your source, and choose source main, contrib, and
plf.  Then urpmi evolution, it will get all the dependencies as well.

To do the same thing it the GUI way:

urpmi urpmi.setup

Then run urpmi.setup, which goes to the above site and pulls down the
same information.  The run rpmdrake to do your package choosing.

For cooker I download the synthesis hdlists, not the full ones.   Sure
you miss out on all the interesting package information, but these lists
change frequently, and given they can be 20MB big, it's best to get the
listing that is 1/50th of the size :)
