That sounds like the 5700 series, which is supported either by the
bcm5700 driver (though that seems to be unreliable) or the tg3 driver. I
can't remember whether we had to use the bf24 kernel from the installer
to get it going or not. We then of course compiled our own kernels, so
support from then on wasn't a problem.
