[wellylug] Promise S150TX4 and WD 36GB Raptors and Mandrake 10

Hi all, my first post here :)

I've just purchased these items for a new installation of Windows and Mandrake 
10 into my rig.
Promise S150TX4 4 port SATA RAID Controller
2x 36GB Western Digital 10,000rpm drives

I'll install Windows first (obviously) and then partition so that I can get 
Mandrake 10 installed with a dual boot (this will be setup in RAID 0).

Is there anything special that I need to do after this with MDK 10, perhaps to 
increase drive speed etc, is there anything I need to do prior to installation 
etc?

I've never been able to get MDK10 or any linux distro working in my rig before 
running a Silicon Image onboard software/hardware solution with a dual boot and 
a couple of Seagate 120 SATA drives in RAID 0, so this will be a new 
challange :)

A-Data Vitessa DDR500 1 GB Dual Channel

2x 120GB Seagate Drives SATA
