Our netware 3.12 server (I eventually upgraded it to 4.10) was connecting
to a UNIXWARE server running UUCP on it, connecting via a 14.4 modem to
Netlink. There was a case of mild 'amusement' when a student tried to
send themselves (at home) a zipped copy of their Visual Basic directory -
I think they were trying to avoid buying a copy for themselves - oh, the
innocence.

I remember being 'hauled' out of one my classes (first year CBC) by the
network supervisor at the time to kill a print job that he had spitting
out from the unix server :-) I think that is what triggered my interest
in the *nixes - cool a 'mere' student one up on one of the staff.

Yes, by the time we looked at win95 working with netware but we ended up
going for Citrix Winframe. At that time started to reduce our reliance on
netware - Citrix worked better with MS :-( and the licencing costs for
another netware upgrade and another 50 users was just too ugly.

Anyway I think that is enough memories from me :-)
