with your setup I would still give Opera add supported a go - you can choose 
text based google adds that are not too intrusive and although it's bars & 
panels take up a lot of screen realestate you can turn most of these off with 
a right click & disable, otherwise the firefox stand-alone browser is 
definately faster than the Mozilla suite.
