[wellylug] Asus is anti-linux?

I got the impression (my impression) that it was about asus breaking 
standards in such a way that the motherboard worked with M$ systems but 
not linux ones, <paronoia> this seems to follow with the original 
halloween documents "de-commoditization of protocols" </paronoia>
anyway...
