It should be as simple as copying your squid.conf file from your
firewall to right place in fedora, and then making sure the paths it
references are still correct.
The most important one is cache_dir, hopefully the rest have been left
commented out so that they will use the default.
Also check things like the user it runs as etc.

Have a thorough read of /etc/apache/httpd.conf while having a copy of
the Apache manual handy. That's pretty much it really.
