If you're that cutting-edge, then I don't think any distro is going to have
the recent versions you require out-of-the-box.

Serious question: Why would you want to use a Debian kernel?
I never use a Debian kernel on a machine that I wanted to use for anyting
useful; they just act as placeholders until I an compile a "real" kernel. I
can understand a complete newcomer who is unable to compile a kernel using
the Debian kernel out of the box, but I don't even think about doing that
myself, and I'm not sure why you (as a developer) would want to either.
Surely any kernel you compile is going to be better than the Debian
equivalent?
