Have you checked to see if there's a 'SuSE 8.2 For Dummies' book?
They're quite good, and they have books from beginner to advanced.

You might find it quite usefull.


Unfortually it appears that wellington libaries don't have it, but they
do have the Sam's 24 hours. (I personally don't like them too much, but
you might).
