But yeah .. I agree with what Damon said. There's nothing wrong with
the rpm format itself, but it's been lacking in decent tools for far too
long. I've never used urpmi, but I've had a play with apt-rpm under
Redhat and I found it to be just as good as apt-get under debian.
I had a few issues using up2date, but didn't spend much time working
with it.
(Apologies if this message winds up on the list twice .. I think I've
munged my exim setup somehow)
