[wellylug] Problems with screen

Hey folks,

I've had a strange issue with screen recently.  I'll be happily working
with screen when all of a sudden it exits with the following message:

Suddenly the Dungeon collapses!! - You die...
sam at spathi:~$ screen -r
There is a screen on:
        28175.pts-48.spathi     (Dead ???)
Remove dead screens with 'screen -wipe'.
There is no screen to be resumed.
sam at spathi:~$ screen -wipe
There is a screen on:
        28175.pts-48.spathi     (Removed)
1 socket wiped out.
No Sockets found in /var/run/screen/S-sam.
sam at spathi:~$

I'd never seen it before until yesterday, and it's happened twice since
then.

I've been told that the 'dungeon collapses' error is thrown whenever
screen segfaults .. anyone have any other pointers?
