Ok, thanks for your description. To me, this sounds very similar to Gentoo
- so what's the killer feature that sets Onebase apart from Gentoo? Then
all we have to do is take that feature and put it in Gentoo ;) Do you
know what the leading philosophy of Onebase is? Usually distributions are
designed and built to meet some sort of perceived need. Any idea what that
might be?
(In case anyone didn't know - Gentoo isn't a source distribution contrary
to common belief. It *may* be treated as one, but it has 100% support for
binary packages as well. You can even pick and mix - just like Onebase
by the sounds of things).
