Not to my knowledge. However, there are a few ways to pick up a few
basics for close to nothing.
Maori TV - in particular, "Korero Mai" (8PM; half-hour) is specifically
targeted towards adults learning te reo for the first time. Note that
they have an odd schedule; they repeat one episode Mon-Wed, a second
episode Thu-Sat, and have review session on Sundays.
I am hopeful it will become available on DVD someday.
"Teach Yourself Maori" is a slim book that will give you a real basic
understanding; it's only a few dollars but works best if you've studied
other languages.
The books Māori for the Office / Te Reo Māori mō te Tari and Te
Matatiki / Contemporary Māori Words provide translations for many
computer and technical terms. Both are published by Oxford University
Press and are available at bookstores throughout New Zealand. "Māori for
the Office" is a handy way to pick up some everyday usage (greetings,
basic questions, simple sentences, words for things around the workplace).
Online, the Ngata Dictionary <http://www.learningmedia.co.nz/ngata/>
provided by Learning Media is an excellent resource for more common
words. Very useful as it provides translations with sample sentences to
help you understand the context and choose between similar words.
I'd love to expand this list if anyone picks up more resources. There
was a website with an incomplete primer that I stumbled across at one
point; I should probably look and see if it's expanded at all.
