My reasoning is simply that I've heard it is about as 'simple' as possible,
and therefore very complex to set up - let alone use. On the other hand,
I've also heard (read) that installing and using Slackware is a great way of
getting to know Linux, and that Slackware users are generally the most
knowledgeable Linux users about. I realise that's a big generalisation, but
maybe you're right - Slackware might be a good option for me.
