Sorry Edouard,

when I tried something as simple as 'mount /mnt/dvd' I received the
following output:

> Tux:/etc# mount /mnt/dvdrange
> [mntent]: line 10 in /etc/fstab is bad
> [mntent]: line 13 in /etc/fstab is badm
> mount: can't find /mnt/dvd in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab
> Tux:/etc# mount /mnt/cdrw

as I first deleted the duplicate /mnt/dvd & /mnt/cdrw, then
'supermount', then '/',
and it now looks as if I will have to delete the scsi stuff

because 2.6.5 does not support it.

This was, respectfully, never about a "guru thing".

Nevertheless, there has to be simple way for 2.6.5 to support SCSI emulation
because error messages in both xcdroast & cdrecord refer to it.

Cheers,

Adam.
