[wellylug] Re: CDRW & DVD Mount Conflict ?

The maintainer of cdrecord has a well-documented hostility towards the
IDE/ATAPI interfaces; for the longest time distro maintainers had to
patch in support (the base package may still ships with only SCSI
enabled; I'm too lazy to check.)
