Not Linux news but for those who like downloading ISOs

Customers on TelstraClear’s residential network in those areas can now
have a level of speed and traffic volume not seen in New Zealand before.
There are three plans including the ‘entry level’ HighSpeed 1G which
offers 2048 kbps/512kbps and 1 Gigabyte for just $39.95. When a phone
line is added it costs $64.90.

HighSpeed 5G offers 2048 kbps/512 kbps and 5 Gigabytes for $59.95
($84.90 with phone). Lightspeed 10G provides a staggering 10240
kbps/1024 kbps - 200 times faster than dial-up - plus 10 Gigabytes for
$139.95 ($164.90 with phone). Additional usage charges are charged in
blocks, depending on the plan chosen, and range from 4.95c per megabyte
down to 1.5c per megabyte.

I'm getting the 2Mb/512Kb/5GB as soon as their call centre opens in the
morning... A full 650MB ISO in 45 minutes... yummy.
