i have a 8GB ide hard drive, formatted as reiserfs
there is one folder on this disk, that whenever i try to access this
folder 
using anythign from a command line "ls" to a open file dialog - the
process 
doing the accessing just hangs..
and after hanging, if i later try to shut down my Pc, the shutting down
never 
happens - it stops @ the umounting of that disk.

I use this disk to store my ripped cds, i'd rather not have to reformat
it. 
I've been indexing the whole drive using madman, but now i can't because

madman will just hang
anyone got any advice on how to fix this disk?
