How did you find that?  I use Cygwin's bash shell and it's great, but I've been
a bit reluctant to try X-cygwin, since the docs don't suggest it's ultra-stable.

But a windowmaker-style windowmanager which could run all my win32 apps
seamlessly would be heaven...
(or as near to heaven as you can get on win32 :-) )

[I'm also pondering getting ObjectDesktop and seeing if I could do something
with that...]
