[wellylug] setting pine to use maildir

I recently upgraded postfix, and now it is using ~/maildir to put my new 
mail into.
Previously I was using /var/mail/<user>

I want to move to using maildir, but I dont know how to configure pine to 
use it.
Does anyone know, or can point me in the right direction?
